One of life's basic pleasures is free and open communication. I am often reminded of how lucky I feel to be able to receive cards and postcards, guaranteed delivery from the USPS, from anywhere in the world. A friend, girlfriend, family member or colleague can send a small piece of their world to me and I can see it within a few days. I could even book a trip there if ever the money was at hand...

The cards and postcards I've received over the years have been a means of sharing precious memories and experiences with the people in my life.
